Working Principle

The wheel rim polishing machine works with a bowl and fixture arrangement designed around the geometry of aluminium rims. The rim moves in a controlled way inside the media mass; casting skin and machining marks are abraded and the surface becomes homogeneous. Rough abrasion and polishing are done in the same machine with different media and compound sets.

It needs far less labour than hand polishing and gives the same result on every rim. It was developed for rim refurbishment workshops and aluminium wheel manufacturers.
